Ideal slow-cooker size: 2-qt.
2 cups Low fat milk or skim or water
2 Tbsp. honey
dash salt
1-2 tsp. Pine Island Apple Pie Spice
1/2 cup dry old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup steel cut oats
1 1/2 cup chopped apples
½ cup chopped walnuts
1. Mix together all ingredients in greased slow cooker. 2. Cover. Cook on Low 5-6 hours. When serving add raisins or a sprinkle of brown sugar. A great way to start the morning!.( I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder and I am set for the morning!)
